Chemin des Anglais, Carcassonne

The medieval Cité of Carcassonne was well defended with substantial outer walls providing a significant barrier to attackers even before they reached the outside of the inner walls. This views is on the eastern side of the cité, looking towards the Porte Narbonnaise and the Barbacane Saint-Louis.
